1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: name, email, phone number, profile photo, professional details, video recordings, documents, and any other content you upload. We also collect information automatically when you use the Platform: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent, device identifiers, and approximate location (when you enable map features). For service providers, we collect more precise location data to power the live map, with a privacy offset applied before public display.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and improve the Platform; match job seekers with employers and service providers with clients; power the AI script generation feature; send you relevant notifications and updates; process payments; enforce our Terms of Service; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Video CVs and Profile Visibility
Your video CV and profile are visible to other users by default based on your privacy settings. You can control visibility in your dashboard settings. Companies and individuals who view your profile may save your contact details. Once a video is viewed, we cannot control how the viewer uses that information, so set your privacy settings according to your comfort level.
4. Location Data
Service providers who enable map availability share their approximate location. We add a ±1km random privacy offset to coordinates before displaying them publicly so your exact address is never revealed. Location data is only collected when you are marked as available on the map and is not stored historically. You can disable map visibility at any time from your availability settings.
5. Data Sharing
We share your data with: employers and clients you apply to or connect with; verified companies browsing talent; service seekers who contact providers on the map. We share data with service providers who help us operate (cloud hosting, analytics, payment processors) under strict data processing agreements. We may disclose data to comply with legal requirements or protect rights and safety.
6. AI Features
Your questionnaire answers are processed by AI to generate a personalized script. This data is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) under a data processing agreement with zero data retention for training purposes. Your answers are used only to generate your script and are not used to train external AI models.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. Video content is deleted from our storage within 7 days of account deletion.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; object to or restrict processing; data portability; and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@quickycv.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We use analytics cookies (with your consent) to understand how the Platform is used and improve it. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings or our cookie banner.
10. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive fields, and regular security audits. However, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
11. Children's Privacy
QuickyCV is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from users under 16. If we discover we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it promptly. Parents who believe their child has registered should contact us at privacy@quickycv.com.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
