1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using QuickyCV ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the service.
2. Description of Service
QuickyCV is a video-first professional networking platform connecting job seekers, companies, service providers, and service seekers. The Platform allows users to create video CVs, post and apply to jobs, offer professional services via a live map, and engage in a professional community. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
3. User Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. QuickyCV reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are found to contain fraudulent information.
4. Video Content Policy
Users may record and upload video CVs and professional introduction videos. By uploading video content, you grant QuickyCV a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and share your content in accordance with your privacy settings. You must not upload content that is defamatory, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable. QuickyCV reserves the right to remove content that violates these policies.
5. Job Seekers
Job seekers may use the Platform to create profiles, record video CVs, and apply for positions posted by registered companies. QuickyCV does not guarantee employment outcomes and is not responsible for hiring decisions made by employers. The authenticity of job listings is maintained through company verification, but QuickyCV cannot guarantee every listing is genuine.
6. Companies and Employers
Companies may post job listings, browse candidate profiles, and contact applicants through the Platform. Job listings must be genuine, legal positions. You may not post listings for illegal activities, pyramid schemes, or roles requiring unlawful discrimination. Companies are responsible for complying with applicable labor laws in their jurisdiction.
7. Service Providers and the Live Map
Service providers who enable map visibility consent to sharing an approximate location (with a privacy offset applied) on the public live map. Providers are solely responsible for the services they offer, their pricing, and for complying with any licensing or regulatory requirements in their profession and jurisdiction. QuickyCV is a platform connecting parties and is not liable for the quality, safety, or outcome of any service rendered.
8. Payments and Subscriptions
Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our Refund Policy. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. QuickyCV reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
9. Privacy
Your use of QuickyCV is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual Property
The QuickyCV platform, including its design, logos, software, and original content, is owned by QuickyCV and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission. User-generated content remains the property of the user, subject to the license granted in Section 4.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickyCV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to QuickyCV in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
12. Changes to Terms
QuickyCV reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration unless otherwise required by law. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
